"I'm comfortable really anywhere out on the court. I will say I'm probably most comfortable on the ball, but if I play off the ball, I still feel 100% comfortable there. Just being with the kinda team that we have, I feel like we will have five guys that can dribble, pass, and shoot. The positions are out of the equation a little bit," Castle commented, reflecting on his versatility and confidence on the court.
Injuries and Absences
While Castle's star shone brightly, the Hornets faced challenges with the absence of Tidjane Salaün, their No. 6 pick, due to a minor laceration near his knee. The injury may have deprived fans of witnessing more of Salaün's potential on the Summer League stage.
Bronny James, another exciting prospect playing for the Lakers, had a mixed experience at the event. James missed the game against the Warriors due to knee swelling but managed to contribute in other matches. Over the entirety of the event, Bronny compiled solid stats with seven rebounds, five assists, three blocks, and two steals, proving his potential despite the setbacks.
Standout Performances
Keon Ellis made headlines with a remarkable 30-point performance, albeit in a losing effort against the Warriors. His shooting accuracy from beyond the arc, which was an impressive 41.7% last season, highlighted his scoring prowess.
Knecht also had his moments, especially in the game against the Heat where he netted 20 points. Over the event, however, his shooting percentages fell short of expectations, as he made 13 of 43 attempts from the floor (30.2%) and four of 15 from three-point range (26.7%).

In an intense final game at the Chase Center, the Warriors edged out Sacramento with a 91-90 victory.
